Research experience & interests

Supramolecular chemistry of cyclodextrins:
    - structural aspects and ability of cyclodextrins to form inclusion complexes with different types of organic compounds,
    - physico-chemical methods used to characterize their inclusion complexes,
    - applications of cyclodextrins and their supramolecular assemblies.      Among physico-chemical methods, EPR method can provide information about the structure and interactions in cyclodextrins complexes.

Synthesis of spin labelled cyclodextrins, spin labelled non-ionic surfactants which can be used as reporters for supramolecular assemblies.

Protein denaturation: thermal denaturation and refolding of proteins using the changes of their chromatographic and electrophoretic properties, their reactivity, interactions with various spin probes.

Mesoporous materials: synthesis and adsorption properties (for organic molecules, metal nanoparticles).
