Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer – Netzsch STA 449 F1 Jupiter

Top-notch tool to study the thermal stability, decomposition behaviour, composition, phase transitions, melting processes of (nano)materials and molecular compounds (organic or metal complex). The instrument simultaneously records the TG and DSC signals with very good resolution between 25 °C and 1200 °C. Alumina pans (with or without pierced lids) are used in both inert (argon) and air dynamic atmosphere; various heating rates can be used (usually 3, 5, 10 and 20 K/min). Small sample amounts are required (2 - 10 mg).
